Claudia Ritzel: una mujer que lucha por la inclusión
Con éste titular el diario Qhubo de la ciudad de Barranquilla rindió un homenaje en el Día de la Mujer a Claudia Ritzel Feske Presidente de Fundown Caribe ; un artículo que con justa causa da cuenta de su labor a la cabeza de la fundación en su lucha por los derechos de las personas con síndrome de Down.
Y es que como bien lo anotan el nacimiento de su hija Carolina hace 15 años pudo haberse convertido en una causa individual, sin embargo para Claudia este fue el motor que la impulso a asumir como propia no solo su situación personal, sino a levantar la voz por un sinnúmero de familias de la región Caribe.
Desde Fundown Caribe, la fundación que lidera desde hace 10 años ,con su perseverancia y liderazgo, ha logrado que la visión sobre las personas con síndrome de Down vaya cambiando en la región y comiencen a construirse entornos inclusivos que les permitan desarrollar su potencial como individuos de importancia significativa en nuestra sociedad.
