Con nueva resolución el MEN reglamenta proceso de reconocimiento de intérpretes de Lengua de Señas
El 21 de marzo de 2017 salió a la luz la Resolución 5274 del Ministerio de Educación Nacional cuyo propósito era reglamenta el proceso de reconocimiento oficial de intérpretes oficiales de la Lengua de Señas Colombiana – Español; sin embargo en su momento se identificó una falta de claridad sobre el término de duración del trámite de reconocimiento como intérprete, las etapas del trámite de convalidación de dicho reconocimiento, y el hecho de que las inscripciones que debían realizarse en el Registro Nacional de Intérpretes de la Lengua de Señas Colombiana – Español, a cargo del Instituto Nacional para Sordos (INSOR). Ante la solicitud presentada para aclarar la ambigüedad de estos tramites, el MEN firmó una nueva resolución el pasado 22 de junio que deroga la anterior.
La resolución 1085, entre otras precisiones establece como requisitos para obtener el reconocimiento como intérprete oficial de la Lengua de Señas Colombia – Español:
- Formato de solicitud de trámite dispuesto por el Ministerio de Educación Nacional a través de su página web, debidamente diligenciado.
- Fotocopia del documento de identificación: cédula de ciudadanía colombiana, cédula de extranjería, pasaporte del país de origen, vigentes.
- Fotocopia del Título académico de pregrado en educación superior, del nivel técnico profesional, tecnológico o profesional universitario, emitido por una institución de educación superior colombiana que corresponda a un programa académico en interpretación de Lengua de Señas Colombiana Español.
Así mismo se plantea la opción para la convalidación del reconocimiento para lo cual será necesario:
-Formato de solicitud del trámite diligenciado.
-Fotocopia del documento de identificación: cédula de ciudadanía colombiana, cédula de extranjería, pasaporte del país de origen, vigentes.
- Haber presentado y superado la evaluación técnica ante el INSOR, de acuerdo con los criterios y requisitos definidos por esta entidad.
- Certificaciones laborales que acrediten que, a la entrada en vigencia de la presente resolución, se desempeñaba como intérprete de Lengua de Señas Colombiana - Español.
